Muka Head Research Station

The Malaysian land mass extends from the Straits of Malacca to the west to the South China and Sulu to the east. Each of these marine areas represent a unique environment which house unique communities of marine life. These communities reflect one of the highest diversity, of expedition and the Siboga expedition did not pass through these waters. The marine Diversity Project aims to encourage the cooperation of both the local and international scientist in the study of marine biodiversity in the region.
